Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Yan was from Dalian City, Liaoning Province. She was imprisoned in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong. In September 2003, her family members carried her back home from the labour camp. On October 1, she passed away.
On October 1, 2000, Ms. Wang Yan went to Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. She was escorted back home and put under house arrest. To avoid the persecution and uphold her belief, she was forced to become homeless and move from one place to another.
In April 2001, she was illegally arrested and sent to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. In September 2003, she was released. Her family members carried her back home on their back. On October 1, she passed away. More detailed information is under investigation.
