My wife, Ms. Sun Ying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was tortured during her illegal imprisonment in a forced labour camp. The local police continued to harass her after she was released. Sun Ying passed away on May 12, 2004.
Sun Ying was 62 years old. She started to practise Falun Gong in 1994 and became healthy. On October 17, 2000, her home was ransacked by police officers. She was arrested and illegally sentenced to a three-year term in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp. During her imprisonment, both her body and her mind were seriously injured, and she began suffering from many illnesses. She was released in August 2001, but was still continuously monitored and harassed by staff from the local police stations. Due to the constant pressure, her diseases turned more serious, and she passed away on May 12, 2004.
