Practitioners in Tumen City Suffer Horrifying Persecution

On September 9, the police duped some practitioners into a mountain area and set up a brainwashing class there. They refused to cooperate with the police. A man called "Director Zhang" ordered the policemen to forcibly carry practitioner Liu Zhenli into the police wagon and send him to the Tumen Detention Centre. The practitioners carried out a hunger strike there. One sat in the meditation exercise just in front of the policemen and was dragged away by the furious policemen. There were four practitioners being sent to the detention centre. Xue Xiuhua (female) continued her hunger strike in the detention centre. A director together with several guards attempted to force feed her; they even cut her throat.

Some guards there were extremely cruel. A female guard with the last name of "Dai" told prisoners to beat practitioners whenever they are seen doing the exercises. A practitioner named Mo Liying (female) tried to persuade her not to do evil. However, she handcuffed the practitioner's hands to the iron window bars. During Xue Xiuhua's twelve-day hunger strike, two guards viciously told prisoners that, "It doesn't matter if she dies, all you need to do is inform us." Under the instruction of section chief Cui of Political & Judiciary Committee, the police broke practitioner Liu Zhenli's leg and dumped him back home.

Three practitioners were sent to brainwashing class one month after being released. They were caught after they were forced to leave home. Among them is an over-60-year-old woman. A poisonous snake bit her when the criminal police forced her head under water in a river. She didn't get treatment in time and nearly lost her life. The other two practitioners were beaten by Minister Nong Zhigao until they had bruises all over their faces and arms. Their wounds could not recover even after more than 20 days. In September, another six practitioners were illegally sentenced to forced labour camp. On the eve of October 1, the ruffians again arrested a lot of practitioners and put them in the detention centre. Nong Zhigao even got promoted for doing this.
