On the afternoon of December 11, 2001, policemen from Anshan City Police Department detained practitioners Qiu Xinghua and Qiu Sihui, who are sisters, when they were clarifying the truth. As they did not cooperate, they had to jump off the fourth floor of the police department to escape the persecution. Their pelvises were fractured and they were severely injured. Now they are in the intensive care unit at Anshan City's Central Hospital for emergency treatment. When their family heard about the news and tried to visit them in the hospital, the police refused their request and guarded the ward around the clock.
The sisters, Qiu Xinghua and Qiu Sihui, firmly believe in "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance." They had been forced to live in exile to resist the vicious persecution, leaving their kids at home with no one taking care of them. They stepped forward to clarify the truth. We could not forget that just three months ago, the vicious authorities from Anshan City's Police Department and from the "610 Office" (An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), tortured practitioner Yuan Zhongyu to death.
