Falun Dafa practitioners in Shenyang City are issuing an urgent appeal to international humanitarian organizations on behalf of ten Falun Dafa practitioners who have been arrested for rescuing Ms. Gao Rongrong.
We have learned that Ms. Ma Lianxiao and Mr. Sun Shiyou have been missing for quite a long time. Ms. Dong Jingzhe is in critical condition from torture.
Ms. Ma Lianxiao, a 59-year-old employee of the Liaoning Province Construction Academy of Science, benefited physically and mentally from practising Falun Gong. She was arrested in July 2003 and sentenced to eight years in prison. She was released only when she was close to death due to torture. After being subjected to torture several times, she was severely injured. She often felt lightheaded, her entire body trembled, and she could not walk steadily. In March, she was again arrested and taken to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Shortly afterwards it was discovered that she was no longer in Masanjia. When concerned people made inquiries, Masanjia authorities told them, "She was sent home already." Everyone looked for her everywhere, but no one could not locate her. Ms. Ma Lianxiao's whereabouts remain unknown.
Mr. Sun Shiyou, 35 years old and a project manager at an advertising company, is the son-in-law of Ms. Ma Lianxiao. He was sent to Shenxin Forced Labour Camp in early April and went on a hunger strike to protest the brutal persecution. In mid-April, he was taken to Dabei Prison Hospital. At the end of April, several practitioners went to Dabei Prison Hospital to see Mr. Sun. The hospital staff said, "Sun Shiyou has gone home. He held a hunger strike and was bailed out for medical treatment." The practitioners asked, "How was his health?" They answered, "Okay." In early May, a practitioner went to Shenxin Forced Labour Camp to visit detained family members. That practitioner confirmed that Mr. Sun Shiyou was not at Shenxin Forced Labour Camp. He was believed to have returned home, but though more than a month has passed, nobody has seen him.
On May 28, practitioners visited Dabei Prison Hospital. They entered the wards for detained prisoners and shouted, "Sun Shiyou, Sun Shiyou." A guard appeared and asked, "Who are you looking for?" They answered, "We are looking for Sun Shiyou." The guard said, "He is not here." "Where did he go?" The guard answered: "He was picked up by staff from Shenxin a long time ago." A practitioner commented, "He is not at Shenxin." The guard answered, "Then we do not know his whereabouts." At the beginning of June, practitioners went to Shenxin and learned that Sun Shiyou was not there. Sun Shiyou's whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Dong Jingzhe is the wife of Mr. Sun Shiyou and the daughter of Ms. Ma Lianxiao. She is 32 years old, an advertising stylist, and is now being held at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp without due process. She has been on a hunger strike for more than two months. After she was injected with unknown drugs, her lower limbs became paralyzed and she lost the ability to take care of herself. On June 23, concerned people visited her at Masanjia. The guard who was responsible for Dong Jingzhe said, "Dong Jingzhe can't move now. She can't even open her eyes. She is on a hunger strike."
Ms. Dong Jingya, a construction designer, is the elder sister of Ms. Dong Jingzhe. She is now detained at Masanjia.
Ms. Zhang Lirong was taken to the local police station. While there, she was injected with an unknown drug. As a result, she felt ill and became dizzy. She is being detained at Masanjia for further persecution.
Ms. Sui Hua is being held at Masanjia without due process. After police at the local police station injected an unknown drug, she suffered great pain in her legs. She can now barely walk.
Another fellow practitioner, Zheng Shoujun, was also injected with an unknown drug.
Mr. Liu Qingming and Mr. Ma Yuping are also imprisoned in Shenxin Forced Labour Camp without due process and are suffering severe persecution.
