Who is Really Responsible for Wang Guoxin's Death?

Wang Guoxin, male, 49 years old, was a worker at a living service centre for the Mechanical Division of the General Petrochemical Plant at Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. He lived at Changxi #37-5-2-1 in Longfeng District, Daqing City.

Wang Guoxin had rectal cancer in February 1996, and the cancer was diagnosed at its mid to late stages while he was having an operation at Hospital #5 in Daqing. He learned Falun Gong right after the operation. He had been very diligently studying and practicing the principles of Falun Gong and the exercises, and his health quickly recovered. He was able to return to work on May 1st, 1996, and was able to easily take on and finish the regular workload. Wang Guoxin's spirit and health were getting better and better as time passed.

After July 20th, 1999, the police station confiscated all of Wang Guoxin's Falun Gong books, his tape player, and exercise music tapes, etc. He was also captured and taken to the police station and was detained for 48 hours. Later, the police closely monitored him, and watched him for seven days. The police station did not return his photo ID until he died. Because of all the measures taken by the police station against Wang Guoxin, he was unable to study Falun Gong's books and practice the exercises. Worsened by the tortures of mind and body from the police station, Wang Guoxin's health deteriorated and the cancer returned. He died in December 2000.
