On December 15th, several practitioners from the Italian Falun Gong Association went to the Thai general consulate in Turin, delivered an open letter and also held a protest activity outside the consulate. A staff member at the consulate received practitioners' representatives and had a twenty-minute conversation. In the open letter, Italian practitioners expressed their concern about mistreatment by Thai police of Falun Gong practitioners who were holding a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. They also expressed their regret and sorrow regarding the crude conduct of the Thai police.

On December 14th, another three Falun Gong practitioners were arrested by Thai police in Pattay while the practitioners were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights in China.
In the open letter to the Thai Ambassador to Italy, the Italian Falun Gong Association urges the Thai government not to bow to the pressure from the CCP’s evil regime and act as an accomplice in the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
At the venue of the protest activity, considering the cold weather, a shop owner who was arranging a Christmas window display invited practitioners into his shop to warm up. Having had conversations with practitioners, the shop owner expressed support for Falun Gong and told practitioner that they all knew the evil CCP violations of human rights and also expressed their anger regarding this.
