Lately, I was given hints that I had to strengthen my righteous thoughts. Although I regularly sent righteous thoughts, over time they somehow turned, without my recognition into something of a routine and formality. My righteous thoughts were not quite as powerful as they should have been and I was at a loss how to achieve the best results or how to focus my righteous thoughts. I thought of thousands of things that I could have included in my sending righteous thoughts at any one time, yet this seemed a little drastic. Also, I did not quite believe any more in the power of specifically earmarked sending of righteous thoughts. I came to understand that one should not target specific “disturbances” without first heaving searched within.
I thought that Master1 saw that I was not doing well with this task. Besides my impression, I was given hints until I could understand the sending of righteous thoughts more deeply, and the power of my righteous thoughts became stronger.
The first hint came when one of the practitioners on my team advised us that Clearwisdom (Falun Dafa related website) had revisited the sending of righteous thoughts announcement. At first, I didn’t believe that it had much to do with me. I thought I knew the content of the announcement as I had read it already. Another practitioner who had read the updated version told me that he had gained new and deeper insights after reading the revised article.
Finally, I began to think about this article. I thought that there must have been a deeper reason behind the revision and that something had changed concerning the sending of righteous thoughts. How could I treat it so nonchalantly? IT was after this thought that I knew I had to read it. Finally, I found answers to my questions. Namely, that one can aim at two targets at the same time with righteous thoughts and if one at any given time is unable, because of a more difficult situation, to direct ones thoughts, it is also acceptable to repeat righteous thoughts. I believe that this addresses my situation, as I am a part-time cashier. It is difficult to concentrate when sending righteous thoughts while helping customers and focus on collecting money. At those times I can’t leave my job. At times, when I am more sincere, I don’t have many customers and I can send without much interference. When I send righteous thoughts while having customers, my concentration is not that great.
As I had found answers to some of my questions, my righteous thoughts became stronger, yet I still lacked concentration. I asked myself if perhaps my moral character had not reached a high enough level, and why so many thoughts filled my mind at those times. Finally, I found an article on Clearwisdom from a practitioner from China who had experienced similar problems when sending righteous thoughts. In his particular case, he concentrated on eliminating the factors behind the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and not on eliminating the communist spectre, before speaking the mantra. Another practitioner had shared with him that he should keep in mind the section “Essentials for sending forth righteous thoughts,” as published by the Clearwisdom website. He should remember especially the first section under “After cleansing your mind, what should you think about before reciting the verses?”
After reading this announcement, I suddenly understood my problem. As a Western practitioner I did not take the elimination of the communist spectre seriously. I also had never held this particular thought, as suggested by Clearwisdom (Minghui). It does not mean, just because I’m not a Chinese practitioner and the persecution does not happen over here, that the evil spectre cannot attack me. The evil lurks in other dimensions and will immediately and shamelessly take advantage of any of my gaps. It is much easier to achieve tranquillity since I have realigned my thoughts, and the power of my thoughts is stronger.
I realised, because of this incident that the demand on Falun Dafa practitioners is higher than that of those who don't cultivate. As future Buddhas, Taos and Gods, they cannot not neglect the smallest thing. Every inattention is a gap that can be exploited by the evil.

Li Hongzhi Furthermore, I am now clearer concerning the responsibilities of a Falun Dafa practitioner. Besides studying the Falun Gong teachings and exposing the persecution, one has to attach great store to sending righteous thoughts. Even, if one cannot see the results, it has great powers in other dimensions in destroying the evil. Besides, this is our sacred responsibility and at the same time we establish our personal merits.
To be able to sent righteous thoughts, we have to have a clear understanding about sending righteous thoughts. We have to constantly improve ourselves and reach different levels concerning such matters. Otherwise it becomes a routine, resulting in less powerful righteous thoughts, and we weaken the belief in our righteous thoughts.
To eliminate the evil and the dark minions, who are just low-level gods, as well as the communist spectre, we have to attain the standard of a god, and have strong righteous thoughts. Humans stand no chance against the power of gods.
