On January the 27th 2006, before the “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition” was held, Israeli Falun Gong practitioners organised a parade in Israel’s third largest city Be'er Sheva, in order to help local residents learn more about the facts of Falun Gong.

Regardless of the fact that the weather that day was not so stable with local showers, the activities were held as scheduled. Donning traditional Chinese attire, female practitioners performed the fairy dance in the first row along with beautiful music. Then banners reading “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” were followed by a waist drum performance.
Along the way, some practitioners also took advantage of the opportunity to distribute flyers of the “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition” so as to invite local residents to visit the exhibition. The parade was highly acclaimed by local people and many took the initiative to ask for more information.

Some policemen in Be'er Sheva cleared the way for the parade until we arrived in the old town; perhaps it was because they thought that the activity was so peaceful and magnificent that there was no need to monitor us any longer. The police officers on the scene also accepted truth-clarification flyers and an invitation to the Art Exhibition.

Practitioners also performed some dances and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises in the square of the old town.
