Since the secret concentration camps were exposed, I reflected on my own experience. I realized that practitioners riding on the same buses as me and held in various parts of Liaoning Province, were perhaps again transferred to concentration camps similar to Sujiatun and lost their lives to organ harvesting. Following are my experiences:
On December 30th, 2000, I went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Dafa. Many Dafa practitioners were there, and shouts of "Falun Dafa is good" echoed in the air. It was magnificent! Many police cars surrounded the square. Every time a practitioner tried to explain the true situation of Falun Gong to someone, uniformed and plainclothes police would fanatically jump on the practitioner and beat and arrest him. The memory is still vivid in my mind.
I was arrested and taken to the Tiananmen Square Police Department and then to the Xicheng District Detention Centre. About six practitioners were detained in each cell. The inmates said that for the preceding few days, many practitioners were brought in and later taken away. Numerous practitioners were holding hunger strikes. We all explained the true situation of Falun Gong to the guards and inmates. The head inmate of the cell where I was detained came from northeast China like me. After groups of Dafa practitioners arrived, he not only learned the truth but also asked me to teach him the exercises. He competed with me to see who could cross their legs the longest. All practitioners refused to tell their name and address, so the inmates called us "Falun." The guards issued each practitioner a number and called us by our numbers. I was given No. 95. The guards saw that intimidation and coaxing didn't work. Groups of officials from local liaison offices in Beijing arrived frequently to identify Dafa practitioners. It was obvious the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime had a guilty conscience.
Around 3:00 a.m. on December 31st, I heard the guard calling my number. I was told to pack up and leave. I was body-searched for a long time in the hallway. The guard announced that Falun Gong practitioners whose numbers were called would be transferred. We were told to immediately get into police vehicles outside, but they didn't tell us the destination. After they body-searched me I went out to the courtyard and saw nearly 20 police cars and large buses. Many practitioners were forced into them. I got on one bus and saw about seven civil police and armed police, and also nearly 30 Dafa practitioners. It was getting brighter outside. A long row of buses drove in the streets. Police cars led the buses making the middle of the caravan, and police cars brought up the rear.
I heard the police say that practitioners held in several detention centres were being transferred together. The detention centres were overloaded with Falun Gong practitioners going to Beijing. They predicted that more Falun Gong practitioners would go to Beijing during New Year's holiday and said there were about 60 buses this time.
We didn't eat or drink. After a whole day of driving we arrived at the border between Liaoning Province and Hebei Province. Lots of police cars, police officers and guards were waiting for us. We later learned that guards from different detention centres in Liaoning Province were waiting to take some Falun Gong practitioners. More than 20 practitioners including me were put in another bus; local police drove us to Fuxin City. We arrived at the Fuxin City Detention Centre around 9:00 p.m. Two practitioners were held in each cell.
In the subsequent week, my cellmate and I were forced to spend 700 Yuan1 on expensive inmate uniforms and other things, which the head inmate stole from us. In order to destroy our will, the head inmate beat, tortured and abused us. He forced us to knit for 12 hours a day. The persecution would escalate if we refused to tell our names and address. Many practitioners continued with a hunger strike and demanded release, but each day practitioners were force-fed and beaten. A female practitioner from Fuxin City had been on a hunger strike for about a month. The guards tied her hands and feet with a rope so she could only squat and inch forward, yet her righteous thoughts were strong and she recited the Falun Dafa teachings in a loud voice and shouted things. It was very moving. She demonstrated the rock-solid determination of Dafa practitioners.
Due to fear, the fellow practitioner and I eventually told our names and addresses. One week later, police from our hometown took us back. We were previously always called by our numbers, which substituted for our names.
About one week after I returned to my local area, another practitioner from my area who was held at the Fuxin City Detention Centre also returned. He said he was released after 11 days of being on a hunger strike and after he told his name. On the day when he was released and got home, the detention centre received orders, effective immediately, stating Dafa that practitioners who told their names would not be sent back to their local city but instead to new places, as a new form of persecution would begin.
Let us thoroughly investigate the inhuman persecution of the CCP against Dafa practitioners in the past few years.
I hope all practitioners can pick up their pen and write down everything they have witnessed.
