It was drizzling on the morning of May 27th, 2006, but this did not dampen people’s mood to shop in the German city of Rostock, many people could be seen walking on the streets in the early morning.

Falun Gong practitioners set up an information desk on the left side of Neuer Market in the city, banners were hung up on both sides of the information desk, the pictures on the banners depict something of the atrocities currently happening in China: the brutal persecution of the Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Pictures of Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in cages, being subjected to torture and beaten to death, and pictures of live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners were shown.

When the practitioners started their demonstration showing live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP, people on the street immediately stopped and watched.

All the passer-by were really shocked by what they saw, they quickly showed their support and sympathy toward Falun Gong practitioners, some of them were in tears in front of the information desk, some of them signed the petition condemning this inhuman persecution in China, some of them waved their hands to practitioners showing their support and respect, encouraging them to continue in their effort to expose this persecution. One passer-by took a leaflet, looked at the cover and said: “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, these three words are so wonderful, if everybody in the world could follow these words, they we will all be happy.

It was still drizzling, even though it was cold, but people who walked pass the information desk still took the leaflets given out by the Falun Gong practitioners.
