Canada: Exposing the CCP’s Crimes of Live Organ Harvesting, Awakening People’s Conscience in Montreal

Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal, Canada held a rally in the burning sun in Chinatown on the afternoon of July 8th, 2006, in response to two Canadian independent investigators, Mr. David Kilgour and Mr. David Matas, who released their investigative report concluding that allegations of the CCP’s large-scale practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners are credible. The practitioners called on people to work together to end the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Hongni said to the audience at the rally in both Chinese and English, "This investigation result proves that the allegation of the CCP’s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners is true, and at the same time shows that there are thousands of, tens of thousands of and even an unimaginable number of Falun Gong practitioners suffering brutal torture and facing the danger of having their organs harvested."

"This is not an individual crime, this is a matter concerning at least thousands of innocent Falun Gong practitioners who have had their organs forcibly removed. These practitioners had their kidneys, livers, hearts, corneas and other vital organs removed, and then were cremated to destroy the evidence."

With the extensive exposure of the CCP’s crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, many Chinese people have changed greatly, and more and more Chinese people took truth clarification materials and some even took the initiative to request a copy of "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party".

" I’m very much worried about those Chinese Falun Gong practitioners who are still being detained," Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaohua said while handing out materials to passersby.

Wang Xiaohua told the reporter, "I was a lucky one among countless Falun Gong practitioners who have been illegally detained in the CCP’s forced labour camps. I can come to Canada, this free land. I was once detained for nearly two years in the No. 2 Forced Labour Camp in Yunnan Province. In January 2002, more than 60 Falun Gong practitioners detained in the forced labour camp were sent to the camp’s hospital (County Hospital), where our blood was tested, we were checked by X-ray and our lower back and kidney areas were pressed, and other checkups. At the time, we thought that was a hypocritical act by the CCP in order to transfer Falun Gong practitioners. With the exposure of the CCP’s crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and the confirmation from the two Canadian independent investigators’ report, I think the check-up in 2002 were for collecting data for organ match up. It is really chilling and horrible."

Wang Xiaohua expressed that he is grateful to the Canadian government and the two investigators’ great efforts, and he hopes that the international community will pay attention, and hopes that more people, especially Chinese people, will see clearly the CCP’s evil nature through this report that confirms the CCP’s crimes against innocent Falun Gong practitioners, so as to awaken those Chinese people whose minds have been deceived by the CCP’s lies, and take possible measures to stop the crimes against humanity.

The rally lasted for three hours, during which some practitioners distributed materials to explain the facts, and others practised the exercises. The scene was peaceful and tranquil, affecting the CBC reporter who came to interview. She expressed after video taping the scene that she also wanted to practise Falun Gong.

After the rally, Ms. He said to the reporters, "Before the release of the investigative report, many people did not believe that it was true. Facing such horrific persecution, if one still sits by and does not have a bit of kind thought, it will be terrible for this life. Hereby, we just want to let more people learn about the facts, and awaken people’s conscience and kind thoughts that they should have innately."

During the rally, the Canadian National Broadcasting Corporation (CBC’s French-language network), and the Canadian National TV station (CBC’s French-language network) came to conduct interviews.
