On the morning of June 29th, 2006, the number one TV station, News 10 of ABC, in Sacramento, the capital city of California carried a live report interviewing Falun Gong practitioners.

Five practitioners were invited to attend Sacramento & Co program of News 10. The programme is broadcast every morning from 9 to 10 and mainly introduces community organisations and activities in the capital city and surrounding area. The practitioners introduced and demonstrated the five exercises to the viewers. They answered the questions and talked about the origin and spread of Falun Gong, benefits to practitioners and the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
In the broadcast, a series of photos were shown intermittently, including photos of large scale group practice before July 1999 in China and the wide spreading of Falun Gong around the world, and photos of practitioners being arrested violently on Tiananmen Square and their peaceful appeal of worldwide practitioners. The programme left a deep impression on its viewers. Several viewers called in and said they wanted to learn Falun Gong.
