One of the chief perpetrators in the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, Li Lanqing, visited Singapore a few days ago. During that time, the Singapore government created a series of incidents in order to curry favour with the CCP, attempting to repatriate a Falun Gong practitioner to China, banning Falun Gong activities and filing charges against Falun Gong practitioners in court.

Handing in a letter at the Singapore High Commission in London

UK Falun Gong practitioners handed in a letter to the Singapore High Commission in London on July 20th. They called on Singapore to drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners and to no longer appease the CCP. The letter was accepted by an official from the High Commission.

UK practitioner Michael, who comes from Singapore, said “In China, the persecution against Falun Gong is getting worse and the Chinese Communist Party are making money from harvesting the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners. At the same time, the Singapore Government is interfering with Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to expose the CCP’s human rights abuses and stop this persecution. The Singapore Government needs to realise that this is wrong. I hope that the Singapore Government will drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners, abide by the country’s laws and respect human rights.”
