Zibo Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province is located in Qiugu Village in the Boshan District. Here, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials have detained and persecuted practitioners since 2000 and the means they use are extremely cruel.
From 2001 to 2002 the camp held more than 200 practitioners. In order to force practitioners to give up their belief, the camp staff uses a tactic they call "transform1 well." They confuse practitioners who have just arrived with false theories. When these approaches fail, they have methods they say will "educate, save, or persuade" practitioners. If these methods don't work either, they torture practitioners with electric shocks, tie them up, hang them up, force feed them, or put them in solitary confinement. During this period of time, one practitioner died during force feeding and one died trying to escape the horrific torture, leaping from a high rise building. Imagine how horrible conditions must be for anyone to be driven to such a tragic end! (Editors' Note: Killing others or oneself is against the teachings of Falun Dafa)
Especially in July 2004, the Judicature Bureau in Shandong Province organised an "education assistant group" conducted by the head of the institution, Sun Jifa, and the political commissar, Yuan. Other officials involved were: the head of the seventh division in the fourth team, Zhang Zhaogui; instructor Pu Cunxian; the head of the seventh team Wang Lijun, who was promoted to section chief by persecuting practitioners; instructor Zhang Meide, an extremely evil person who was promoted to deputy instructor in the fourth division for transforming the most practitioners; and policemen Bian Weigang and Cui Weiguo.
The officials worked together to persecute the practitioners by detaining them individually and in secret. They used many vicious tortures. Every practitioner suffered from electric shock torture to varying degrees, the worst example was using seven electric batons to shock one practitioner. They also put a motorcycle helmet on a practitioner's head, then turned on the speaker in the helmet to the highest volume broadcasting a recording that slandered Dafa. This torture damaged the practitioners' nervous system. The torturers took turns blowing cigarette smoke into the helmet to make the practitioners cry and cough. They tied practitioners up with a belt so tightly that the person could not breathe and was almost in shock. Day after day they did not let practitioners sleep. During the winter they opened windows wide and handcuffed the practitioners to the windows. Each day they picked the most vicious assistants ( Zhou Haitao, Cao Mingjun) to beat and torture practitioners. Although the secret place where practitioners were detained was away from the dorm, everyone could still hear the practitioners' screams when it was dark. They did not leave anyone out, including those who had already been tortured until they were mentally disordered.
In one instance Zhai Naijie, who was tortured and "transformed" by the cruel persecution, later became very depressed for a long period of time. In the spring of 2005, he became mentally unbalanced. Even so, the chief of the fourth division police, Zhang Zhaogui, still ordered labour camp employee Li Bingjia to force feed him. Mr. Zhai had to wear the handcuffs even when he was taken to the hospital and was handcuffed to the hospital bed while the police were having a meal.
Above are tortures commonly used by the police on practitioners. There are many other insidious tactics. Besides having the guards closely watch the practitioners, the labour camp people also arranges to watch closely the practitioners' every movement. This persecution of practitioners for so many years is really difficult to describe. The Zibo forced labour camp is really a den of evil.
