Falun Gong practitioners in Japan held a series of activities to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s live organ harvesting on September 13th and 17th, 2006 in front of Takashimadaira station, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo. The activities included a demonstration, photo exhibit and speeches. Many passersby were stunned by the demonstration simulating live organ harvesting. Among passersby was a Japanese schoolgirl who is in grade one at a junior middle school. She asked, "Is this true? I simply dare not to believe it." After a practitioner’s explanation, she asked for flyers and signed a petition calling for an end to the atrocities.

A middle-aged man stood in front of the truth clarification photo exhibit, looking at the photos one by one. He said that a Japanese Culture TV channel aired news about the organ harvesting atrocities, but regrettably, big media outlets in Tokyo are very slow in reporting this. He hoped that more media will report the situation so that the Japanese people will learn about the truth as soon as possible and the tragedy will be stopped.
There are a large number of Chinese residents in Takashimadaira. A seventy-year-old Chinese woman was very clear about the CCP regime. She repeatedly encouraged practitioners to keep up their efforts and exert pressure on the CCP from overseas, so that their crimes can be soon stopped. She also said that the CCP regime has all kinds of human rights problem, and it shouldn't have the right to host the 2008 Olympic Games.
The two-day activity helped many Japanese citizens learn about the CCP's atrocities, though organising the activity was not easily done. The coordinator of the activity said when she applied for a permit, she was worried that it may not be so easy for the police to approve because her Japanese is not very good. When the police officer saw photos depicting the demonstration of live organ harvesting, he was very surprised, asking whether it was really happening or not. The police officer showed sympathy and issued a permit for two weeks. However, during the activity on September 13th, as the persecution facts were not thoroughly clarified, the police said that some people were frightened by the demonstration, and asked if it could be canceled. The coordinator and another practitioner went to the police station to explain the situation and clarify the truth. On September 17th, the demonstration reopened and local residents showed their sympathy and support. It is hoped that more people with righteous thoughts will stand up to stop the CCP’s atrocities.
