Jilin City Policemen: No Human Rights for Falun Gong

At around 11:00 a.m. to noon on October 9th, 2006, six policemen from the Dongjuzi Station and Zhanqian Station of Jilin City, Jilin Province stormed into the Baishuncao Herb Store located in the Dong Market of Jilin City. They confiscated some Falun Dafa books and arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Ziying's daughter and her fiance. Ms. Liang Ziying was able to escape.

On the way to the police station, policemen from the two stations were arguing over which station to go to, and they finally decided to go to the Zhanqian Station. They were talking about where to go after they received the bonus money from arresting Falun Dafa practitioners. They said to the people they arrested, "We give human rights to even death row prisoners, but not for Falun Gong practitioners!" They were openly declaring that they did not care about human rights while dealing with Falun Gong practitioners, which is a telling sign of where the regime stands on the issue.

Ms. Liang Ziying's daughter and future son-in-law were released at around 8:00 p.m. on the same day, but police visit their shop every day. They scared away two customers when arresting people on October 9th, 2006, and the shop had to close on that afternoon.
