From December 2nd to 4th, 2006, Wu Bangguo, Chairman of China National People's Congress led a delegation visiting Hong Kong to participate in the ITU Telecom World 2006. The delegation included Wang Xudong, Minister of Industry Information and a key criminal in the persecution of Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners held a series of activities during their visit to call for an end of the persecution, bring the criminals to justice and support the disintegration of the CCP.

At noon on December 2nd, a group of practitioners went to Harbor Hotel to wait for the arrival of the delegation. Due to CCP's immense pressure, police put the demonstration zone far away from the hotel. A large number of guards stood there to block practitioners from holding their peaceful protest. Some practitioners managed to unfurl banners near the hotel to let the CCP delegation see when the motorcade entered the hotel.
In the evening, the CCP delegation attended an official dinner in AsiaWorld-Expo. Practitioners arrived there at 3 p.m. and held banners calling for an end of the persecution, an investigation into the live organ removal and banners about withdrawals from the CCP. They held a sit-in protest and sent forth righteous thoughts as a group until 9 p.m.
During the protest activities, practitioners read an announcement from the Falun Dafa Association, a solemn statement from the Epoch Times, a notice from Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, announcement from World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) about Wang Xudong, Bo Xilai and other key criminals. They exposed the CCP's persecution to the delegation and other attendees.
Wang Xudong and Bo Xilai are key criminals listed in the announcement of WOIPFG. Wang Xudong actively participated in persecution of Falun Gong when he was Secretary of the CCP Committee of Hebei Province. As a result, Hebei was one of the most severe provinces in persecuting Falun Gong. Since he was appointed as Minister of Industry Information, Wang actively promotes the CCP's persecution by monitoring communication, following targets and controlling the internet, which led to the arrest of many practitioners. He also applies information blockage to the whole country and has covered up the facts of the persecution.
On the morning of December 3rd, practitioners continued their sit-in protest outside the Harbor Hotel. Some practitioners went to protest outside the China's Liaison Office since the delegation went there to meet CCP officials in the office. The practitioners informed the police about the activity. They unfurled banners and sent forth righteous thoughts outside the front entrance of the office. Under strong pressure from the CCP, some Hong Kong administrative officials ordered police to force practitioners to leave. Police snapped practitioners' banners and drove the practitioners to the location behind the rear entrance.
Then police followed practitioners one by one, even when practitioners had lunch. One elder lady said to a police officer seriously, "I am going to bathroom. Don't follow me!" The police officer returned.
After sharing, the practitioners felt they should continue clarifying the truth to the delegation and CCP followers. After noon, they returned to the front entrance and unfurled banners. Under repeated pressure from the CCP and their high level officers, at least forty female police officers and mobile armed police were moved to the scene. The armed police set up iron blockade and drove away reporters on the spot. They issued warnings to the practitioners to clear the site.
The practitioners explained the facts to the police officers on the spot and pointed out that this was a peaceful protest aimed at stopping the CCP's brutal persecution. It is a basic human right to appeal. The police petitioned their higher level officers but still asked the practitioners to leave for "security" reasons. One practitioner proposed to the police that practitioners could leave but hope to have a banner stay in front of one side of the front entrance. The police still refused.
At 1:50 p.m., police set up in the surrounding area and applied force to practitioners. Many police stepped forward, pulled or pushed the 20 or so practitioners to the demonstration zone behind the rear entrance. The zone was closed for a while and the practitioners were not allowed to come out, or even go to the bathroom. It was the first time that police applied violence to practitioners since the street blockage charge in March 2002.
Actually, during the several years since the blockage charge, practitioners clarified the truth and allowed many governmental officials and police come to know the CCP's evil. When practitioners were illegally detained in the demonstration zone, some police officers, who knew the the facts, criticized their colleagues for following orders. They asked them to release the practitioners.
At around 3 p.m., some practitioners went to the home of a practitioner who lived in a building beside the China's Liaison Office and hung a banner with "Quit CCP, disintegrate CCP, and stop CCP's persecution" on it. After 4 p.m., the CCP delegation motorcade came to the Office. Police saw the banner and anxiously dispatched someone to knock on the door. Practitioners were firm and did not open the door. They also hung a banner worded "Falun Dafa is good" outside the window. They also shouted "Falun Dafa is good," "Quitting the CCP for your own safety," etc. The banners were hung outside the window until the CCP delegation left at around 5 p.m. A group of CCP's military men stood outside the Office and raised their head to look at the banners.
During the evening, some practitioners went to the AsiaWorld-Expo and held a sit-in protest outside when the CCP delegation was attended the opening ceremony. The practitioners said they would send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil factors and clarify the truth to the public and related administrative departments regarding the police's forceful relocation.
