Ireland: Irish Practitioners Hold Rally and Parade Calling on the CCP to be Abolished and an End the Persecution of Falun Gong

On the afternoon of July 21st 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and parade in Dublin supporting the twenty four million brave people who have withdrawn from the CCP and calling on all circles of society to together end the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong which has now lasted eight years.

The parade started from Parnell Square at the centre of Dublin, passed along Parnell Street where overseas Chinese business people gather and finally stopped before the GPO. After that, a rally was held including a re-enactment of removing organs from live people happening in China.

During the parade, some practitioners held banners reading “Falun Dafa is good”, “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, “Supporting 24 Million Brave People Quitting the CCP”, “Disassemble the CCP and Stop the Persecution”. Meanwhile, other practitioners distributed leaflets.

Many passers-by read the fliers with interest as they were very much concerned with the persecution Falun Gong practitioners are suffering from. Many Chinese people in China Town were also talking about it, thinking that Falun Gong was so wonderful. A lady living in Ireland for fifteen years said, “Although I am very much interested in Chinese traditional culture, it is also the first time for me to hear about Falun Gong. I can hardly believe the fact that organs are removed from live people and is happening right now in China. I hope that we can stop the persecution and that people be allowed the freedom of their belief. As Falun gong is a Chinese traditional Qigong, I am bound to learn it as soon as possible.” She was also helping Falun Gong practitioners to distribute material by following the parade. In doing so, she hoped that more people would learn about the persecution happening in China.

Ms. Yanan, from Irish Branch of the Global Service Centre for Quitting the CCP, made a speech at the rally. She said, “Since the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published in 2004, the Irish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP has successively printed almost 40,000 copies, persuading Chinese people to quit the CCP. Now many Chinese people have made declarations of quitting the CCP and its associated organisations on the Epoch Times website. The CCP will soon become extinct. The past eight years has witnessed how diligent and unyielding Falun Gong cultivators are. The international voice against the persecution is growing louder and louder. It is getting more and more difficult for the CCP to carry on its persecution. From the Resolution Report condemning crimes of the Communism passed by European Parliament to the relay of ‘the Fire of Human Rights” rejecting the CCP holding Olympic Games which has started globally, we can see that the CCP is being destroyed soon. Since God’s will and people’ heart are of the same, we Global Service Centre for Quitting the CCP have made a "Resolution to disassemble the CCP by righting wrongs in accordance with heaven’s decree”, hoping everybody give us support so as to disassemble the CCP as soon as possible. ”
