Germany: Eight Years of Exposing the Persecution

On Saturday July 21st 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Stuttgart held an information day on the streets to tell people about the eight years of persecution against Falun Gong in China. They also helped people learn about the atrocities of organs being harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese detention facilities and the fact that over 22 million people had withdrawns from the CCP.

Quite a few Chinese people passed by the information booth that day. Chinese college students were shocked to see Falun Gong materials available on the streets. Some Chinese people accepted copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. In front of the booth many Chinese people withdrew from the Communist Party and its related organizations. One Chinese person indicated that he had already withdrawn from the CCP at a similar booth in another city.

Saturday was very cool, an exception during a week of hot weather. Many people came out to enjoy the pleasant weather. Local people watched the exercise demonstration and viewed the display boards. Some requested Chinese materials for their Chinese friends. Plenty of people from a distance saw highly hung banners about the twenty four million withdrawals from the Communist Party and they came over to find out more. A middle-aged woman said she wanted to sign in support as soon as she saw the words "Falun Gong." One man said, "You tell the truth to everyone. This is worthy of praise. I hope you succeed in your efforts soon."

Practitioners observed that the environment for such activities has improved over the last eight years, and that they should continue to hold such activities more frequently in the future.
