From June 28th to July 3rd, 2008, over thirty young practitioners from Northern Europe went to Gotheborg, along with their parents, to take part in activities there. Although these young practitioners spoke many languages, including Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Chinese, it didn’t prevent them from communicating with one another and making progress together.

The parents of these young practitioners cherished their cultivation environment very much. In the morning, the children sat in a circle, singing songs composed by practitioners, reciting Hong Yin (poems written by Mr Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa), and studying Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Gong) together. Some parents read for the younger children who couldn’t read themselves, while the older ones read together in unison. Since some of these children attended this kind of group Fa-study for the first time, they said that they felt magnificent to take turns to read the Zhuan Falun in five different languages. The youngest one was the six-year-old Jonathan. He read Zhuan Falun aloud with older children in Danish. Those who studied the Chinese version were the children born or brought up overseas, but their Chinese proficiency was quite good because they have studied the Chinese version of Zhuan Falun since they were very little.
These children advanced a lot in cultivation while they were together. After participating in the parade with adults, they also set up a booth to spread Falun Gong in the following several days. Along with some of their parents, they folded lotus flowers, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed Falun Dafa flyers there. As soon as the children lined up and started practising the exercises, they attracted a lot of attention from passersby. People stopped and watched these young practitioners’ demonstration with smiles and happily accepted the flyers.
