The Persecution of Older Practitioner Ms. Jiang Youchun, a Falun Gong Practitioner from Hubei Province

Ms. Jiang Youchun, is a 58 year old practitioner from Gongan county, Jingzhou city, Hubei province. She is being persecuted because she would not renounce her belief in Falun Gong and would not stop distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong and that Falun Gong teaches people to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. She was once detained in a detention centre in Dongguan city for 14 months and was forced to do slave labour.

In September, 2000, Ms. Jiang Youchun was arrested while distributing Falun Gong leaflets in Hengli county of Dongguan city. She was kept in a detention centre there and tortured. She was severely affected both physically and psychologically from this detention.
