On August 23rd, British Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the ancient university city of Cambridge to raise awareness about the facts of the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong. They hung banners reading "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Stop the Persecution", and called for help to stop the persecution.
Andrew Edwards, who operates a horticulture business in Cambridge, walked straight up to the booth of the Falun Gong practitioners and signed the anti-persecution form. He said that he understood Falun Gong well and highly appreciated the Falun Gong practitioners’ action. He considered that what Falun Gong practitioners are doing has a positive and far-reaching impact on Chinese society. He said, "I think China is experiencing a change and hope that this can help to make an outside influence, and I think that this is a good thing."
Miss Lu, from Taiwan, said that she had been aware of Falun Gong in Taiwan; Falun Gong is respected in Taiwan. She knew that Falun Gong was persecuted in China by the Chinese Communists, but she didn’t know the actual persecution was so brutal and tragic, beyond imagination. She said that she could not imagine how people could do these sort of things to other people, especially in China. The set of things which were done by the CCP is unacceptable.
