How do I persistently encourage the Chinese people to quit from the CCP?

In 2005 before I came abroad, I was mainly spreading the Nine Commentaries and encouraging my relatives and friends to quit from the CCP and its related organisations. At that time I always had the Nine Commentaries and other truth clarification booklets in my bag. I persuaded people to quit the CCP by using the opportunities of visiting friends in my work place, or coming across acquaintances or other people with predestined relationships in food markets while I was shopping, or paying a visit to my relatives. The effect was quite good and also relatively safe. Eighty per cent of the people I visited, no matter whether they were my friends or my relatives, withdrew from the evil party and its related organisations. Of course this is still far away from the requirements of Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period.
After I arrived in Britain in July 2005, to look after my younger cousin’s child, I felt a bit lost. The environment had changed, how could I complete my mission? I was worrying about it. Later on I found that my cousin’s home was quite near to the city centre and a language school. I often ran into some Chinese children when I took my cousin’s child for a walk. All of a sudden I realised, aren't these the Chinese people I should save?
Starting from 2006, every day I took the Nine Commentaries with me when I took the child for a walk, and every Saturday I insisted on going to the city centre with other practitioners to clarify the truth to tourists and spread the Nine Commentaries. One day when I was taking the child to play on a big lawn, I saw a few Chinese children on the west side of the lawn. I went over to give them the Nine Commentaries and chat with them. One of the children said, “I know all about what you are saying, my father told me a lot at home. I hate the Communist Party the most, and I am willing to withdraw from it.” The other three children also withdrew following that child. When my thought is righteous, Master will bring the predestined people to me. The first successful experience of persuading to quit the CCP gave me a big encouragement. As long as I have a thought of saving people, Master will give me the encouragement. Thereafter I can run into the predestined people to quit from the evil CCP and its related organisations no matter whether I am on the road, at the train station, at the bus station, or at the gate of the language school.
On June 15th 2006, Master published a new article ,“For the Good of the World”: “Make clear the truth, and drive off foul spirits. Spread widely the Nine Commentaries, and the wicked Party shall fade. With righteous thoughts, save the world's people. I just don't believe their consciences
are irretrievably lost.” I felt that my responsibility was more significant and the process of Fa-rectification was also getting quicker and quicker. Apart from persuading people to withdraw from the CCP on the streets of Cambridge, I also bought telephone cards and started to make phone calls to mainland China to encourage my colleagues and friends to quit the CCP. Some of my colleagues were very afraid of the CCP, they did not dare to listen to me and quit the CCP, but I still passed the truth on to them. I believe that they will quit the CCP if they get a chance to listen to the truth again in the future because I know they are very good people. In July 2006, 10 of my friends and relatives quit from the CCP and its related organisations after my truth clarification.
Studying the Fa well is how we guarantee that we can do the three things well. Master told us in 2002 that: “As Dafa disciples tell people the facts, it’s like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths, shredding apart the rotten demons’ lies. Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them.” Now we have the weapon of “shredding apart the rotten demons’ lies” – the Nine Commentaries, how could I have any excuse to slack off? Master said in “Touring North America to Teach the Fa”: “Your cultivation is absolutely not a personal, simple matter of reaching Consummation -- your cultivation is saving the countless sentient beings in the cosmic body that corresponds to you and who've put infinite hope in you. The cultivation of you all is saving the sentient beings in every single gigantic cosmic colossal firmament.” The base points for Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples are: helping Master to rectify the Fa, validating the Fa, fulfilling the vow, and saving sentient beings. Facing such a big mission, I have to increase my energy to save sentient beings.
After my cousin’s child was sent to kindergarten, I moved out of my cousin’s home. I persisted in spreading the Nine Commentaries and clarifying the truth on the street every day. I often came across Chinese people who were poisoned deeply by the evil party culture, and I was scolded by them with very coarse words. At the beginning I was very uncomfortable, and I even had a heart of fear when I was threatened by Chinese spies. After studying the Fa calmly at home and looking at my attachments, I felt very ashamed of myself. Master told us in “Realms” in “Essentials for Further Advancement”: “A wicked person is born of jealousy. Out of selfishness and anger he complains about unfairness towards himself. A benevolent person always has a heart of compassion. With no discontentment or hatred, he takes hardship as joy. An enlightened person has no attachments at all. He quietly observes the people of the world deluded by illusions.” One thought distinguishes a god from ordinary people. As long as we believe in Master, believe in the Fa, what are we afraid of? What are we uncomfortable for? Is this not an opportunity to rectify oneself? Once our thoughts are righteous, the evil will collapse. Once human notions are got rid of, then a part of myself is assimilated with the Fa and sentient beings are saved. Through the approach of telling the facts on the streets and then looking inward based on the Fa at home, I have developed a set of methods for saving sentient beings, my Xinxing (character) truly assimilated to the principles of Falun Gong, the divine body in other spaces changed, and the sentient beings are saved. This is really a good thing gained in multiple ways all in one shot.
My experience of persuading people to quit the CCP is pretty simple: believing in Master, believing in the Fa. We all talk about believing in Master, believing the Fa, and saving sentient beings. But “believing” is not just something we should say but is a fundamental change in our notions. Truly believing is really cultivating in action. Master said: “A cultivator has no enemies. The only thing you have a role in is saving people” (“Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago”, June 26th, 2005). We should hold only this thought: the only role a Dafa disciple has is saving people. Encouraging people to quit the CCP on the street, getting rid of human notions during the process of saving people, getting rid of the heart of fear, then digging out human notions based on the Fa, then encouraging people to quit the CCP on the street again. By doing things in this cycle I finally enlightened: the process of saving people is the process of rectifying ourselves, the process of saving people is also the process of self-saving. It is just a process of comprehensively disintegrating and eliminating all degenerations and external interferences. It is also a process of truly walking away from our human sides.
If we get rid of the heart of fear and our thoughts are righteous, no matter what situations arise , we can deal with them well. On a weekend in May this year, the New York Flushing event happened. At that time, the Cambridge Chinese student union published an announcement on the web to hold an activity of fundraising for the earthquake survivors in mainland China. The fundraising activity was the same place of our weekly hong-fa activity. Many practitioners in Cambridge went to America to attend the NY Fa-conference, and with only a few practitioners left, some practitioners were worried. I said: “As long as our thoughts are righteous, the evil will be afraid of us.” We were sending forth righteous thoughts and telling the facts. As a result, the Chinese students did not make trouble; some of them accepted our truth materials, even quit from the CCP and its related organisations on the spot. A practitioner said: “ I feel today’s field is very righteous”. This is exactly the case as Master said that ,“If our thoughts are righteous, the evil will collapse”.
Every year many Chinese students come to Cambridge. Many students are deeply poisoned by the evil party. They are very rude and unreasonable. From time to time they curse us, kick our exhibition boards and create troubles. To clarify the truth to those children, we need a very high xinxing standard. It is easy to be affected by their emotion without great compassion and tolerance. We use the approach Master told us: “Just by staying unaffected you will be able to handle all situations”. Meanwhile we send forth righteous thoughts to restrain their unreasonable behaviour, and then tell them the facts wisely. Of course there are some teachers and students who take the initiative to come over to listen to our truth clarification. On the 9th of August, it was raining, but still many Chinese students on the street came to us to learn the truth. Six teachers and students quit from the CCP and its related organisations on the spot. Even though we experienced many hardships, we still feel happy when we see they can be saved. The more righteous our thoughts, the better the effect in saving sentient beings.
In order to save more Chinese people, I have participated in the project of making calls to mainland China since September last year. It is not easy to persist in doing this for nearly one year. With strong righteous thoughts, I make calls to persuade people to quit the CCP after sending forth righteous thoughts and doing the exercises every morning. If my main consciousness is not strong enough, the evil will take advantage of it. I am making calls using my computer; it’s convenient and the cost is also cheap. At the beginning I often got different interferences; either my computer became dead or the power supply had some problems. Several times I sent strong righteous thoughts toward my computer to eliminate all of the evil factors behind the computer: I am saving people and any interference is not allowed. I also felt Master helping me. After that my computer has never had a problem. “The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston”). Master also said in “Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital, 2006” that, “People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things.” I felt that, as long as the thoughts of saving people are righteous, constantly rectifying ourselves and getting rid of various attachments, the effect of making calls will be better and better. With Master here, with the Fa here, every thing will become smoother and smoother.
At the beginning of making calls, there were very few people willing to listen to the truth. I could only mange to persuade six or seven people to quit from the CCP a month. Now 80% of the audience are willing to listen to the truth; in July I helped over 70 people to quit the CCP. I felt the strong field set up by Master. As long as we carry it out persistently without any distracting notions, the effect will certainly be good. Although making phone calls is very convenient, it is not easy to carry it out persistently. It needs to have righteous thoughts and a heart of saving sentient beings; it also needs to get rid of interference. Master said in the article “Abandon Human Attachments and Continue True Cultivation” in “Essentials for Further Advancement”: “persevering in true cultivation are long-term tests for every Dafa disciple.” Persuading people to quit the CCP is a long-term test of true cultivation.
I am determined to continue to try hard to save people until the Fa rectifies the human world and not leave any regret for myself and sentient beings. Dear fellow practitioners, let us together catch up with the progress of Fa rectification, save more sentient beings, and return to our true selves with Master.
