On September 13th, 2008, the Northern European Service Centre for Quitting the CCP and Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity near Helsinki train station to support the 42 million people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as to further expose the evil CCP’s atrocious crimes during nine years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
Laid out on the ground was a display depicting the bloody history of the CCP’s repression of Chinese people during its forty odd years in power, from the Cultural Revolution to the Tiananmen Square Massacre, to the persecution of Falun Gong. Photo after photo, along with short introductions, made many stop to read. Having learned the truth, people took the initiative to sign and support.
A Finnish lady circled the stand for a long time and finally said to Anija that one of her relatives is a CCP official. So she dared not sign. But she took a leaflet about the persecution of Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party newspaper in English.
The practitioner pointed to an overseas student, Sangzi, and said to Ms. Armine, her parents are both detained in jails in Wuhan City for practicing Falun Gong; after returning to China in 2002, another Chinese student by the name of Qi Like was arrested by police in 2006 and later sentenced to three years in jail in Shenzhen for not giving up Falun Gong; Jin Shao Yu came to visit with relative. On the second day when she arrived in Finland, her mother Chen Zhenping was taken from home in Zhenzhou City by police for practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Armine said, “The brutality is beyond imagination.” Before she left, she asked, “Do you come here often? I have seen you a few times.” The practitioner said, "Yes, we have activities almost every Saturday here". Ms Armine said, “I will look you up again.”
A doctor of natural healing from India, Dr. Shashikant, happily accepted the leaflet and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in English, signed the petition and asked two practitioners to have their pictures taken with him. In the end he waved goodbye, “Good luck! God bless you!”
That day a Chinese youth renounced the Communist Youth League at the Northern Europe Service Centre for Quitting the CCP.
