Finland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong

On January 17th, 2009, some Falun Gong practitioners in Finland set up a table by the side of Helsinki Central Station to raise awareness about the evil Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. They called on the world to support an end to the persecution.

In the piercing wind, the eye-catching signs reading "Falun Dafa is good" and "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong" attracted the attention of people who passed by, and constantly practitioners heard people say, "Falun Gong, Falun Gong". Many people received leaflets and said, "Thank you". Many signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

An elderly woman walked by with difficulty, and when she saw the Falun Gong practitioners' display she thought it was sort of propaganda. One practitioner told her that it was the Falun Gong practitioners who were telling the truth of being prosecuted by CCP to the people because of their belief in "truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance". When she heard about it, the old lady then asked, ”Do you seek for money?” Xiao Wang said that Falun Gong do not accept money, it’s to call for help to stop the persecution. She immediately went to the table, signed her name solemnly.

Mr Urpo initiatively talked to the practitioners, “The CCP will fall down soon, they will quickly become history, just like the fall of the Soviet Communist Party". When a practitioner gave him Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party he said, "I know this, well done, you have done a good job."

An old gentleman passed the spot of activities twice, he talked to practitioners, “You’ve done a good job, God will protect you.”

Two Chinese young men happily received the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the Epoch Times dispatched by the practitioners. When practitioners learned they were from mainland China and had joined Communist Youth League (CYL) and Young Pioneer team, then persuaded them to issue a statement in the Epoch Times net to quit the CYL, Young Pioneers Team, they agreed without hesitation and expressed their gratitude.
