He was seriously injured all over his body and suffered a broken leg.
Previously, Li Zhenxin's mother had many diseases, but after starting to practise Falun Gong, all of her diseases were cured. The entire Li family was then persecuted for believing in Falun Gong. The mother (56 years old) and the father (59 years old) were detained. Li Zhenxin was detained and then transferred to a labour camp for further persecution. Li Zhenxin's brother, Li Zhenning (22 years old), was arrested and then transferred to Zhuozhou Brainwashing Centre. Later he was transferred to Xiaobailou Brainwashing Centre in Baoding City for further persecution.
Mr. Li's mother could not bear these severe blows and fell seriously ill. On February 23rd, 2009, she was diagnosed with severe heart disease. Currently, she has to wear an oxygen mask in the hospital and cannot eat or drink. She vomits frequently and is very weak.
