Practitioner Ms. Zhou Daoqiong, a retired teacher from Qingbaijiang, in Chengdu City, along with Mr. Zheng Bin, were jailed at the Qingbaijiang Detention Centre. Both lost consciousness after being tortured and were sent to the Qingbaijiang Hospital (also know as Chuanhua Hospital) for treatment. But the more treatment they received, the worse their situation became.
On February 3rd, 2009, someone reported Ms. Zhou Daoqiong while she was informing people about the true nature of Falun Gong and asking them to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Police officers from the Chengxiang Police Department of Qingbaijiang District arrested her and took her to the Qingbaijiang Detention Centre.
On October 23rd, 2008, police officers from the Chengxiang Police Station of Qingbaijiang District arrested Mr. Zheng Bin and ransacked his home. They later sent him to the Qingbaijiang Detention Centre. Mr. Zheng was tortured to the point that many illnesses appeared at the same time and he was taken to the Chuanhua Hospital for treatment. The hospital put him on emergency treatment. The police monitored Mr. Zheng around the clock for about two weeks and didn't allow his friends and family members to visit him. Only those relatives who cooperated with the police were allowed to stay with Mr. Zheng.
We are calling on international human rights organizations and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong to become aware of this situation!
