In 2005, agents from the local 610 Office¹ incited seven people to beat Li Xiumei to death. The seven responsible are still at large.

Facts about the Death of Ms. Li

At around 1:00 p.m on November 3rd, 2005, Ms. Li Xiumei and her husband Mr. Wang Xinjia were helping entertain guests at their nephew's wedding. Agents from Qingzhou City 610 Office and officers from the Qingzhou City Police Department intruded and arrested Ms. Li, Mr. Wang, and Mr. Lu Bangzhu, a practitioner from the same village, and seized their property from their homes.

Mr. Wang and Mr. Lu were imprisoned at the Qingzhou City Detention Centre. Ms. Li was taken to the Qingzhou City Brainwashing Camp.

After Ms. Li Was released from a brainwashing camp, agents from the Qingzhou 610 Office used money, lies, and threats to incite Wang Xinyuan, Wang Jianping (female), Li Xinyi, Zhong Yuxiang (female), Cui Chunfeng (female), Wang Youzhai and his wife to pressure Ms. Li to give up her belief in Falun Gong. They deceived Ms. Li into going to the house of Li Xinyi, where they kept her awake for days and nights, pinching her neck and holding her down while they rolled a rolling pin over her body. Ms. Li died in the house of Li Xinyi on the night of November 24th, 2005.

Investigation

On November 25th, 2005, Ms. Li's son went to the house of Li Xinyi to look for his mother. When he entered, the seven murderers were eating and drinking. They said that she was not there. The son saw a blanket covering a person on a bed. When he drew closer he discovered that it was his mother and that she was dead.

The relatives of Ms. Li said there were clear marks of pinching on her neck and bruises on her legs. The family called police and requested a forensic medical exam. The examiner concluded that in addition to the exterior wounds previously stated, that Ms. Li's internal organs were damaged.

The Qingzhou 610 Office intervened in the investigation. The forensic medical examiner became uncooperative with the family, and took out Ms. Li' heart and other organs against the family's will. Ms. Li's daughter and brother said that Ms. Li's body was cremated without her internal organs.

An Unbelievable Ending

After Ms. Li's family called police, the seven responsible were detained at the Qingzhou Detention Centre. After the intervention of the Qingzhou 610 Office, they were released one after another..

The Qingzhou 610 Office then imprisoned Mr. Wang Xinjia, who is Ms. Li's husband, for two years of forced labour. On July 31st, 2007, when Mr. Wang was released from the Shandong Province Second Forced Labour Camp after serving his full term, the agents from the 610 Office directly took him to the Weifang Brainwashing Camp and threatened him "not to hate and not to retaliate." They did not release him until it was close to the new year. After he went home, Mr. Li learned that their son had died at work. He was blown up, but the details were unknown.

The Seven Responsible

Wang Xinyuan is the younger brother of Mr. Wang Xinjia. Wang Xinyuan and Wang Jianping, a couple, started harassing practitioners right after they were "transformed²" in the brainwashing camp in 2002. In June 2005, to coerce their mother to give up her belief in Falun Gong, the couple did not allow her to go to sleep for days and nights. In October of the same year, they took her by force to the Qingzhou City Brainwashing Camp and did not let her go home until a month later.

Liu Rongyou, agent from the Qingzhou City Brainwashing Camp, was also involved.
