Many people were attracted to the practitioners' booth, and some learned the exercises. Some Chinese people also stopped by and learned things that have been covered up in China.
A health show was being held in Dun Laoghaire County Building at the same time. Practitioners set up a booth and displayed Falun Gong books, photos, and videos.
At the festival, groups with different cultural background performed their traditional dances and songs. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, performed the traditional Chinese fan dance and umbrella dance. They also played Tang-style drums. When they were performing the lotus flower dance, the host of the show stated that practitioners follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and the lotus flower is a symbol of purity and high moral standards.
