On April 21st, 2010, Sharon Shepherd, mayor of the City of Kelowna, proclaimed May 2010 as Falun Dafa Month in the City of Kelowna, Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Whereas Falun Dafa practitioners follow the principle of Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance and incorporate it into their daily lives; and
Whereas Falun Dafa promotes the cultivation of body, mind and spirit and it embraces people of all ages and religious affiliations; and
Whereas Falun Dafa practitioners in communities across Canada will celebrate with parades and free public traditional Chinese dancing and singing performances; and
