Deputy prison governor Zhu Wenchen, along with others from Hulan Prison and local police officers from Yuanye Police Station, broke into disabled Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Jin Chengshan's home on the morning of May 5th, 2010. They disregarded his disability and arrested him, intending to detain him at Hulan Prison again. Their reason was that the disabled man "disturbed society's security, and the police station did not supervise and control him." They put him into a car and drove away.

Happily Obtained Falun Gong During Hard Time
Mr. Jin Chengshan graduated from a police school when he was young. He was assigned to work at Hulan District Police Station, and became a police officer. After getting married, he and his wife had a lovely daughter. His wife's clothing business was doing well, the family was happy, and they had what they needed. Unfortunately, Mr. Jin was involved in a traffic accident when he was just over 30 years old, in 1996. This caused him to have a first class disability, not being able to take care of himself for the rest of his life. He had a comminuted fracture at his eighth, ninth, and thirteenth thoracic vertebra that resulted in paraplegia of the upper limbs. Below the thoracic vertebra he had numbness, and he was incontinent. He could only survive under others' care. He had no choice but to stay at home. Under his wife's care, he struggled to sustain his life. Because he laid in bed all year long, his bedsores festered and didn't heal. He searched for good doctors and medicines, from Harbin to the Beijing 301 Hospital, but found no cure.
"If I hadn't become disabled, I probably would not have cultivated Falun Gong." Jin Chengshan told his friends. Like many Falun Gong practitioners who started cultivating, he initially had no hope under the torturous effects of the illness, and was on the verge of collapse. He just decided to try it and chose to begin Falun Gong cultivation practice. Miraculously, the bedsores on his body soon healed, and he had remarkable improvement in all aspects of his health. He became stronger, and he no longer needed drugs to sustain his body. His wife, Jiao Xiaohua, witnessed Falun Gong's miracle of healing and fitness, and also began to learn cultivation. Life came back to the family that was on the verge of collapse. Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance benefited Jin Chengshan profoundly. He required himself to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, which are the standards of cultivation. He is now open-minded, optimistic, and considerate of others in everything. His whole family is benefiting from Falun Gong.
Persecuted for Persuading Others to Be Good
Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20th, 1999, Jin Chengshan, with paraplegia of the upper limbs, has been brutally persecuted by his former police colleagues.

For more than two years, Jin Chengshan's family has been seeking to transfer him to his home for medical attention. After tremendous efforts, his family got him back to his home in mid-June 2009. In order for Jin to have a good environment, his whole family moved to a new home. But the police station near his new address assisted the Hulan Prison officers in arresting him and putting him in prison. The reason for his imprisonment was that the police station didn't supervise and control him, and furthermore the Yuanye Police Station reported to Hulan Prison that Jin Chengshan disturbed society's security.
