Ms. Hu Lingying, 70, is the mother of a doctor employed at the Jianyang City Hospital in Sichuan Province. Not only had the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted Ms. Hu, but her grown children were deceived by the CCP's propaganda to the point that they abused her many times for refusing to give up Falun Gong. Her son recently beat her, breaking her arm and crutches. She was also locked in her home without food and water, and suffered excruciating pain. Ms. Hu is in critical condition.
Ms. Hu Lingying began practising Falun Gong in 1996, and many illnesses that had plagued her for years gradually disappeared. She holds herself to a high moral standard and is kind to others.
Ms. Hu's daughter Li Huaying, is a doctor in the Jianyang City Hospital. Fearing her mother's practice would be detrimental to her career, she first stole the sixty thousand yuan1 that her father left for her mother and then forbade her mother from practising Falun Gong. Ms. Hu's refusal give up her practice infuriated her daughter. One day Li Huaying suddenly pushed her down onto a bed. She sat on her mother and hit her head and face with a metal bar wrapped in cloth. Ms. Hu's clothes became bloodstained, and her face was covered with blood and became swollen from the beating.
Li Yinghua later conspired with people from the hospital and police to have her mother sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison.
Guards at the Chuanxi Prison instigated inmates to drag Ms. Hu by the arms and force her to run, which caused her legs to become disabled. She was denied medical treatment, and the elderly Ms. Hu has since had to use crutches to walk.
Following her release from prison, Ms. Hu lived with her son's family in the home that she owned. Her son and daughter-in-law conspired to swindle Ms. Hu out of the deed to her home, then demanded that Ms. Hu move out. To achieve their purpose of driving Ms. Hu out of the house, the couple made false accusations to the police, saying that Ms. Hu was not only doing the Falun Gong exercises at home, but also exposing the truth of the persecution and telling people the facts of Falun Gong to others.
Despite this mistreatment from her son and daughter-in-law, Ms. Hu tried to persuade them to be good people. The couple often cursed at her. When Ms. Hu recently tried to reason with her son and explain the truth behind the persecution, he became infuriated. He smashed Ms. Hu's crutches and twisted her arm, breaking it in three places.
Filial piety is a traditional virtue of the Chinese people, so how could Ms. Hu's daughter, son, and daughter-in-law show such outrageous cruelty? This is a consequence of CCP's poisonous lies and propaganda, which have brought out mental aberrations in a large percentage of the population. This is a family tragedy caused by CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.
We hope that this incident is a reminder for the people in Jianyang City of how the regime's actions incite hatred and violence toward Falun Gong practitioners. Please give your helping hands to rescue Ms. Hu.
