In mid September, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Song Jiaxing was secretly sentenced by the court, the Procuratorate, the Public Security Bureau, and the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) to five years in Mi County Prison, Henan Province. He had already been detained for nine months in Qi County Detention Centre.
At 8 a.m. on December 31st, 2009, Song Jiaxing was taken from his home by Li Yongjun, head of the Domestic Security Agency of Qi County; Kong Desheng, deputy head; and policeman Liu Cheng. He was held in Qi County Detention Centre. Only on January 30th, 2010, was his case reported to the Procuratorate of Qi County.
In mid June 2010, his case was heard at Qi County Court, but his family was not informed. During the trial, Song Jiaxing defended Falun Gong, stating that practising Falun Gong did not break any laws. However, the trial was only for show and the outcome had already been decided.
