Mr. Lin Zhiliang and Wife Ji Shuying from Dalian Sentenced

Mr. Lin Zhiliang and his wife Ms. Ji Shuying, both from Dalian, were arrested in July 2009, by officers from the Lushun Police Department and the Domestic Security Team.

Both husband and wife were detained at the Yaojia Detention Centre in Dalian for nearly a year, and sentenced to prison - Mr. Lin for five years and Ms. Ji for three years. After receiving the sentence, Mr. Lin filed an appeal, but it was rejected by the Intermediate Court.

Mr. Lin was sent to a prison in Liaonan on November 16th, and is expected to be transferred to another prison in one to three months. Ms. Ji was recently transferred to the Shenyang Women's Prison.
