The University of Arizona finally saw sunshine on February 7th, 2011, after an entire week of chilly weather. Student organisations held a student orientation activity on campus. Students with the Falun Dafa Club set up a booth with a banner worded “Falun Dafa Is Great!”
More and more students continued to visit the booth during lunchtime, and practitioners were kept busy introducing Falun Gong. A student from Mainland China stood far away for a long while but kept looking at the Falun Gong booth. Jenny, a Falun Gong practitioner, took some truth-clarification materials to him. He said, “I have been waiting for a long time. I would like to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).” After talking with Jenny, he left feeling happy and relieved from a big burden. Several other Chinese students also quit the CCP. Being overseas gave them an opportunity to learn the truth about Falun Gong.
A Western student originally planned to learn martial art basics. But after hearing Falun Gong practitioner's introduction, he couldn't wait to get online to study Zhuan Falun.
Many people learned the facts about Falun Gong. Some learned the Falun Gong exercises. Seeing how happy they were to learn about Falun Gong made practitioners feel gratified.
