Kind hearted Villager Ms. Xiao Yongkang from Huayuan County, Hunan Province, Arrested Again

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Yongkang was arrested again. According to insiders, 20 policemen from Huayuan County broke into her home in the city and took her away at 8:00 a.m. on April 21st, 2011. She was alone at the time.

In the afternoon Huayuan County Detention Centre called Ms. Xiao's family, telling them to bring clothes for her and pick up documentation. Her family went to the detention centre on April 22nd but were told that Ms. Xiao had been transferred elsewhere at 8 o'clock in the morning, and no one knew where she was.
Her family members are very worried, and her seven-year-old daughter is very upset and asking for mother everyday.

Last year, Huayuan County 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) director Shi Guangbin, Policy Law Commissar Long Guangyong, Yang Xiuying, and Yang Xiaoying arrested Ms. Xiao on October 15th, 2010. She was taken to the so-called “Legal Education Base” brainwashing centre in Chihuahua City.

At the time of her arrests, Shi Guangbin threatened Ms. Xiao Yongkang's husband and her daughter. Ms. Xiao was handcuffed and carried away by the police, who also took all the Falun Gong books, DVDs exposing the persecution of Falun Gong to be used as evidence.

Ms. Xiao was persecuted in the brainwashing centre. She was slapped in the face continually, and she was handcuffed and hung up with her feet not touching the ground. She was left that way for five days and two nights. A large piece of skin on her wrist ripped off due the pressure of the full weight of her body on the handcuffs. She was shaking from extreme pain, her mind was confused, and her mouth was dry even as her body was drenched in sweat. She was monitored 24 hours a day and threatened that she would be sent to a forced labour camp if she refused to give up Falun Gong. She was released after one month of extreme torture.
