At approximately 10:00 a.m. on April 26th, over ten people from the Beijing 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong), the Domestic Security Division of Shunyi, the Renhe Police Station, and the Cangshang Neighbourhood Residential Committee broke into the home of practitioner Zhu Jinzhong in Shunyi. They ransacked her home and arrested her. They also confiscated her computer, printer, Falun Gong books and other items. Ms. Zhu was taken to the Tongzhou District Detention Station.
Zhu Jinzhong started practising Falun Gong in 1997. Before practising, she suffered from multiple diseases, had a bad temper and was addicted to Mahjong (a popular gambling game in China). After she began practising Falun Gong, she not only became healthy, but also stopped gambling and her temper improved. She loved to help others and became a very kind person.
After the Jiang Zemin, [former leader of China and instigator of the persecution] regime started their persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Ms. Zhu was arrested and detained on multiple occasions.
In 2000, Ms. Zhu was forced to undergo a two-week brainwashing course conducted at her workplace (the Shunyi Road Department). She refused to give up her beliefs, and was subsequently fired from her workplace. Later with the efforts of her husband, the workplace changed her status to “Retired due to illness”.
Between 2001 and 2002, she was forced to take two brainwashing classes.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on March 28th, 2008 (prior to the Beijing Olympics), she was arrested by the Shunyi Domestic Security Division and her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Nihe Labour Camp in Shunyi, then to the Daxing Womens' Labour Camp for two years of forced labour “re-education.” Ms. Zhu refused to give up her Falun Gong practice, so she was taken to the Tumuji Labour Camp in Inner Mongolia to undergo brutal persecution. She was subjected to various torture methods there, including: Hung up, death bed1, electric shock, violent force-feedings, overexposure to the sun, handcuffed, beaten with rubber batons, kicked in sensitive body parts and deprived of the use of the toilet (giving them no choice but to relieve themselves in their trousers). She almost died there.
Authorities arrested this kind person again under the trumped up charge: “Disrupting the stability of society.” We hope that people all over the world who seek justice will pay attention to this case, and help Zhu Jinzhong to be released soon.

Note
1. "Death Bed" torture: A practitioner is tied to a bed with his hands handcuffed above his head to the bed rails, and his legs tied with thin nylon ropes. The rope is then tightly wrapped around the practitioner's body and the bed, from his legs to his chest. The rope is wrapped so tightly that the practitioner has difficulty breathing and eventually loses consciousness.
