The 2011 annual Asian Festival at The Mosaic Church in Little Rock was held on June 11th. Five hundred people from various Asian countries and ethnicities brought Asian culture to the event. The host invited the local Falun Gong group to participate. The Falun Gong table was at the church entrance, allowing all attendees a chance to see it.

The practitioners introduced Falun Dafa to festival goers, talking about the health benefits and Falun Dafa's principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, as well as informing them about the brutal persecution practitioners face in China. A man from the Philippines who had heard about Falun Gong long ago said, “Only an evil regime interferes with people’s pursuit of spiritual freedom.”
Many event participants were interested in learning the Falun Gong exercises. A Spanish radio station interviewed the practitioners about the basics of the practice and the persecution for their listening audience. At 3 pm that day, the practitioners demonstrated the five exercises as part of the event's stage performances.
