Villagers in Shandong Province Condemn Linyi 610 Office Agents

On June 22nd, Su Wei, Chen Jun, and Gao Changying from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) in Linyi, Shandong Province, went to harass and arrest Falun Gong practitioners in Suijiadian Village, Yiwen Town, Yinan County. However, the villagers condemned them and they had to leave.

610 Office agents Su Wei, Chen Jun, and Gao Changying heard that practitioners were busy planting vegetables and went to Wang Xiai and Liu Jianhua's garden to harass them. They said that they had gone to visit Wang Xiai and other practitioners. However, the practitioners who were harassed said, “When we were sick, you did not come to visit us. Now we practise Falun Gong and are healthy. What do you come here for? You do not want us to be good people. We do not welcome you.”

Prior to the persecution, there were many practitioners in Suijiadian Village and they benefited a great deal from practising Falun Gong. After the persecution started, practitioners were persecuted by the local 610 Office. Practitioner Zu Peiyong was held in a forced labour camp twice. Other practitioners' homes were ransacked and they were arrested, held in brainwashing centres, and had money extorted from them. During the past ten plus years, practitioners in this village were harassed multiple times.

On November 19th, 2008, 36 practitioners were arrested when they attended a Falun Gong experience sharing conference in Wang Xiai's home in Suijiadian Village. More than ten practitioners from the city were implicated. Many practitioners' homes were ransacked and they were arrested and held in the brainwashing centre. Ms. Li Changfang, Mr. Qi Changchun, Ms. Meng Xianglan, Ms. Meng Xianglin, Ms. Wang Hongmei from Yinan Township, and Ms. Li Jizhen, Ms. Sun Qingxiang, and Mr. Yan Peiguang were held in forced labour camps for one to three years. Ms. Xue Li was sentenced to three years but given five years probation. These practitioners have returned home. Many sites producing Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution were wiped out. All the practitioners in the village were placed on the blacklist. On every sensitive date, local 610 Office agents and officers from the Domestic Security Division went to the village to harass and threaten practitioners.

Shortly after the large arrest in November, police from the 610 Office went to Mamuchi Township to harass practitioners and ransack their homes. Next, they went to Suijiadian Village to harass practitioners there. However, most practitioners were busy with their farm work. The police demanded that the head of the village search for practitioners. He was told to call out practitioners' names over the loudspeaker. The police planned to take the practitioners to the brainwashing centre, but they failed to make any arrests.

But the police did not give up. In September 2010, the Linyi 610 Office told Yinan 610 Office agents to harass practitioners. Xue Kehua and several other officers went to Suijiadian Village intending to make some arrests. They heard that Ms. Wang Xiai was busy building a new house, so they went to look for her. Ms. Wang realised that they were going to arrest her, so she said to Xue Kehua, “It is my right to choose my own belief. We pay your wages, but now you harass us. You will be punished. You'd better leave right away.” When Xue Kehua and the other officers did not leave, Ms. Wang Xiai took the opportunity to reveal the evil things that Xue Kehua had done during the past ten years.

Xue Kehua shouted at her, “If you do not stop talking, I will take you away.” He was about to drag her away, but when the other villagers saw Xue Kehua put his hands on her, they said to him, “What are you doing? She practises Falun Gong! She is a good woman and now enjoys good health. What's wrong with that? Where are you going to take her?” Xue Kehua realised that he was surrounded by the villagers and wanted to escape. However, he was too embarrassed to run off. Ms. Wang Xiai said, “You are too ashamed to leave, aren't you? Go ahead and run away. You know that Falun Dafa is truly good, so do not harass practitioners anymore! Do not come here anymore.” Then she went back to work. The police were condemned by the villagers and had to quickly leave.
