The Wuan Court in Hebei Province sentenced Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Sufang to five years in prison. Ms. Li has been severely persecuted in the No. 17 Ward of Hebei Province Women's Prison since April 29th, 2007. Now, as a result of torture and harsh conditions, she is very weak, absentminded, and her blood pressure is extremely high.

The guards have beaten and locked Ms. Li in a small isolation cell.

In the No. 17 Ward, a practitioner whom we have not been able to identify has often shouted "Falun Gong is good." When she has shouted it, under the directions of the guards, inmates have beaten her, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against a wall, and then injected her with unknown drugs. After being injected, the practitioner’s eyes became dull. As soon as she regained consciousness, she continued shouting, "Falun Gong is good."
