On October 8th, agents from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) and police officers from the Domestic Security Division, Yongzhou City arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Chuzhuang and took her to the so-called Law Education Centre located at Jieluiqiao, Linging District, Yongzhou City to undergo brainwashing sessions.

The 610 Office has set up many brainwashing centres in all over of China. They are often, as in this case, disguised as “Law Education Centres,” which are actually illegal, secret prisons used for brainwashing.

Soon after Ms. Zhao started practising Falun Gong in 1998, her illnesses disappeared and she became healthy. Practising Falun Gong, she has conducted herself according to the standard of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance during her daily life.

Agents from the 610 Office and police officers from the Domestic Security Division, Yongzhou City arrested practitioners Ms. He Xianzhi, Ms. Zhou Wenxuan, Ms. Sui Yuxiang and Ms. Pan Hane and others in September 2011. On the morning of October 8th, they surrounded Ms. Zhao's house. The police were all over the places including upstairs and downstairs.

The Law Education Centre located at Jieluiqiao, Linging District, Yongzhou City has been set up by the Yongzhou 610 Office as the place where the authorities force the Yongzhou practitioners to undergo brainwashing. In 2010, the 610 Office forced the Lingling District practitioners to undergo brainwashing. In 2011, the 610 Office also forced practitioners from the Lengshuitan District of Yongzhou City to undergo brainwashing. Ms. He Xianzhi, Ms. Zhou Wenxuan, Ms. Sui Yuxiang and Ms. Pan Hane and Ms. Zhao Chuizhuang are detained in the law education centre.

Ms. Zhao Chunzhuang has also been brutally persecuted in the Beimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province due to her insistence of belief in Falun Gong.
