On April 13th, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Sangkran Festival Parade in Bangkok, impressing the spectators with their beautiful procession consisting of a flag group, a waist drum troupe, and a “Celestial Maidens” group. The Sangkran Festival is the most celebrated festival in Thailand. It features parades, beauty contests, cultural performances, and much more.

The parade procession marched through the busy district of Bangkran. Many spectators received practitioners’ hand-made paper lotus flowers and Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Some eagerly extended their hands to get the materials.
At the end of the parade, the hosting organisation presented the practitioners with an appreciation souvenir. Mr. Chatparitta, the chairperson of the hosting organisation, said that they were very pleased to have Falun Gong as part of the programme. He wished all practitioners a happy Thai New Year.
