This was the biggest annual festival in the Korean community. The programmes featured singing, Korean movies, kickboxing performances, Korean musical instrument performances, a traditional K-POP cover-dance competition, Korean traditional games and displays of delicious food. The event attracted about 10,000 people. This was the fifth time that Lotus Flower Performing Arts was invited to take part in this event. They presented a Lion Dance, Falun Gong exercise demonstration and a Xinjiang Uyghur Dance.
Joseph Kang, who was in charge of the event, said that the day before the event trees and wires were everywhere on the street due to a windstorm, but it was sunny on the day of the event. He said they were “very lucky.” He praised Falun Gong practitioners' performances as “peaceful and happy.” He said that he hoped more Chinese people would take part in the activities held in their community.
