Police Hang Up 70-Year-Old Man for 3 Days and Nights until his Death

At the end of December 2000, Dafa practitioner Huang Yuanyi, from Wushan County of Gansu Province, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong along with his mother, wife and daughter, and left his father at home to take care of the house. Wushan County police got the information and came to stop them but did not catch anyone. The policemen were so furious that they hung Huang Yuanyi's elderly father, who was in his 70's, up on the family's grape trellis and forced him to tell them where his son went. The elderly father did not say anything. The thugs hung him up for 3 days and nights, without giving him food or water, until he died. The local Tianshui Daily, however, lied to say that Huang Yuanyi's father committed suicide because of his family practising and appealing for Falun Gong.
