The Persecution of Male Practitioners in the Third Division, First Brigade of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp

The Third Division of the First Brigade of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp is known for severely torturing Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners held there are not allowed to talk to each other. There are currently twelve practitioners being detained there.

Cheng Xiuchang is a practitioner from Qingyuan County, Fushun City. He sentence is from January 15th, 2011 to January 14th, 2013. Because he refused to write the three statements to renounce practising Falun Gong, he was given ten “black flags.” One black flag represents a term extension of five days. He has been tortured at the whim of his captors. Guard Wang Fei often harasses him. He has pressured him to renounce his belief in Falun Gong and slapped him in the face.

As of April 2012, twelve Falun Gong practitioners were being held in the Third Division of the First Brigade of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Among those detained, three are from Fushun City, four from Jinzhou City, three from Chaoyang City, and two from Huludao City.

The following is the status of each practitioner as of April 2012:

Zheng Guangfa is from Fushun City. His term ends on June 1st, 2012, but he was released in early May.

Pei Kecheng is from Fushun City. His term ends on September 1st, 2012. He will be released in early August.

Cheng Xiuchang is from Qingyuan County, Fushun City. He was sentenced to two years in prison and his term ends on January 14th, 2013. His term was extended by fifty days.

Zhang Zhigang is from Heishan County, Jinzhou City. His term ends July 5th, 2012. He will be released in early to mid-June.

Song Dechun is from Jinzhou City. His term ends on August 8th, 2012 but has been extended to mid-August, 2012.

Jiang Liqing is from Jinzhou City. His term ends on August 15th, 2012. He will be released in mid to late July.

Zhang Guohai is from Linghai area of Jinzhou City. He was sentenced to two years in prison. His term ends on December 8th, 2013. He is expected to be released in late October 2013.

Zhang Guoli is from Chaoyang City. His term ends on June 29th, 2012. He was released in late May.

Wang Tieli is from Chaoyang City. He was sentenced to two years in prison. His term ends on October 7th, 2012. He is expected to be released in early to mid-July.

Meng Qingchang is from Chaoyang City. His term ends on November 20th, 2012. He is expected to be released in late October.

He Yong is from Huludao City. His term ends on August 8th, 2012. He is expected to be released in mid-July.

Li Lixin is from Shuini Street, Lianshan District, Huludao City. He was sentenced to three years in prison. His term ends on January 25th, 2014, but was extended by twenty days. His term is expected to be shortened from there.
