Driver Mr. Yang Wenxue from Zinbin County, Liaoning Province Exposes His Unjust Arrest and Torture at the Hands of Officers from Xinfu Police Department

Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Xinbin County in Fushun City and Xinfu Police Department arrested practitioners in Xinbin County at around 7:00 a.m. on April 15th, 2012. Driver Yang Wenxue (non-practitioner) was also arrested and tortured. The following is Yang Wenxue's account of how he was arrested and tortured.

I'm a driver in Xinbin County. At around 7:00 a.m. on April 15th when I was on my way back home, four officers hidden in my residential community threw themselves on me and made me squat down. I suddenly stood up and yelled out, “Who are you? How dare you arrest a citizen in broad daylight?” The officers were terrified of being overheard by others and their illegal acts being exposed, and they immediately pushed me into their car.

I was taken to an interrogation room in Xinfu Police Department in Fushun City at 9:00 a.m. The room was dark and scary, with only one small lamp. All kinds of torture instruments were lined up along the wall, the sight of which made me tremble with fear.

Three policemen bound me to an electric chair. Both my hands and feet were cuffed tightly to the chair. They started to interrogate me by saying, “What do you think of Falun Gong?” I said, “Falun Gong teaches people to be good according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Being truthful means to always tell the truth, never lie; being compassionate means always thinking of others first and being selfless; and practising forbearance means always being tolerant of others. If everyone could follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, our society will be in harmony, our country will be strong and prosperous, and Chinese people would live in peace.”

I asked them, “Don't you think Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good?” They were taken aback and said, “We don't want to talk about this right now.” They picked up a piece of paper which listed the names of practitioners from Xinbin County. They asked me who I knew. I said I didn't know any of them, and that I had never even heard of those names.

Two hours passed, and the officers still didn't get what they wanted. One tall officer started to crazily abuse me, and increased the voltage to the electric chair. He beat my chest with a steel baton and hit my back with a baton made of wood studded with spikes on the tip.

After torturing me for a while, he became tired, and was sweating a lot and breathing heavily. I was beaten simply because I didn't want to go against my conscience to frame those kind Falun Gong practitioners. I was prepared to fight with these evildoing officers with my life and I started to scold them. Suddenly the screws on the electric chair broke. The three officers were scared to death and they all stood up. At 5:00 p.m., I was released and my car was returned to me.

The officers from Fushun City Domestic Security Division and Xinfu Police Department torture Falun Gong practitioners. I previously didn't believe that practitioners were being tortured, but now I totally believe it. I have experienced the torture in person!
