Under the pretext of the name "Mental Re-education Centre," Masanjia Labour Camp is actually a living hell where many innocent practitioners have been subjected to brutal torture. Overcome by fear and other notions, my mind started to waver three days after entering the Camp. In March 2001, I was assigned to a team to monitor the practitioners, but in fact, I was assisting the Camp authorities to persecute the practitioners. I remember once I was asked to persuade a practitioner to give up her belief in Falun Dafa, but under the pressure of the team captain, I actually helped beat up the practitioner instead. After the incident, the captain made sure that I would not tell anyone so that nothing could leak out. At times, after beating up a practitioner, the captain would not let the practitioner sleep or talk to anyone for a few nights on end. One day a practitioner protested the injustice done to them by going on a hunger strike. The captain then ordered her to be force-fed. Through a tube inserted into the nasal passage, they poured in two small basins of saline solution, which ended up in her lungs. The practitioner passed out immediately and was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. To make themselves look good in the eyes of the public, whenever the press arrived, they would send practitioners who refused to succumb to their terror to a different team.
Team Leader Dai Yuhong often used former practitioners who had gone astray in their understanding to punish determined practitioners. One day, Team Leader Lu Yaqin commanded me to beat up a Falun Dafa practitioner, then drag her to the washroom and tie her up in one position with her face down on the tiles for two days and nights. In another instance, Team Leader Wang commanded Song Yaxian to inject a certain drug into practitioner Zou Guirong. This drug has a strong effect that can paralyze a person within a few minutes. Another Dafa practitioner was handcuffed onto a leg of the desk by team leader Ren Hongzan. She was forced to squat on the floor for seven days and nights. Countless abuses like these took place in Masanjia Camp every day.
I painfully regret my own mistake of deviating from "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" and my criminal activities at Masanjia Camp, and I am determined to make up my mistakes regardless.
Here, I would also like to warn the officers at Masanjia Camp: If you should continue to commit such crimes, the law and "what goes around, comes around" will soon catch up with you.
