The sorrow that I feel when I think that Jiang has Deceived so Many People

On 30 October 2002, an American Falun Gong practitioner unfurled a banner on Tiananmen Square which read “Falun Dafa is Good”. He was taken away by the police.

In the police station, a young policeman interrogating him and upon seeing his copy of Zhuan Falun in English, insisted that the book must not be translated properly if it did not contain the falsities and lies that had been widely attributed to Falun Gong and its founder Mr. Li Hongzhi by the Jiang’s regime.

However, the policeman confessed that he had never read Zhuan Falun.

Through conversation, the western Falun Gong practitioner felt that it was difficult to tell the policeman the whole truth in a short period of time. He then told the policeman that Falun Dafa was good and the translation of Zhuan Falun was painstakingly careful and accurate. He also told him: “Jiang’s regime have purposely lied to all the good people of China and that is exactly why I have come to Tiananmen Square. I am living proof of someone who have benefited enormously from Falun Dafa, and I am willing to go to great risks to let others know the truth.”

When I read this report today, my deepest impression was the young policeman’s stubbornness. He had never read Zhuan Falun. I felt terribly sorry for him! There are many people like him who have been deceived. They hate Falun Gong, but they have never read Zhuan Falun. Their hatreds simply derive from the countrywide propaganda raised by Jiang’s regime.

Mao Zedong once said: to know the taste of a pear you have to taste it yourself. It should be no problem for the policeman to get a copy of Zhuan Falun and read it by taking advantage of his duty. However, he did not do it. He was unintelligibly confident and always persisted in his notions. He had not even thought about that the notions did not originate from him but were imposed upon him by the government. If he read Zhuan Falun once from cover to cover, he would know everything!

I feel sorry for the thousands and millions in mainland China who are unable to read Zhuan Falun. I also feel sorry for those at home and abroad who can freely surf the Internet but are so self-opinionated that they are unwilling to read it.

I am so sad that Jiang has deceived so many Chinese people!
