From December 7 to 10, 2002, the annual "Psychology Science Exhibition" was held in the Agriculture University of Bangkok, Thailand. Thai Falun Dafa practitioners rented two booths to hang up banners written in Chinese, English and Thai and set up a TV to play the Falun Dafa exercises video and programs exposing the Jiang regime's crimes against humanity in their persecution of millions of innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
The purpose of this exhibition was to help people come to know and understand Falun Dafa and also to tell people about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. By letting more and more people know the true situation in China, the Chinese government will feel pressure to end this most evil and violent persecution. The exhibition had a demonstration area. Every afternoon at 2 p.m., the Thai practitioners, in tradition yellow Chinese exercise suits, went up on a stage to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises along with exercise music and introductions. Some of the audience stretched their arms to imitate the movements.
Many people visited the booths everyday. After they watched the TV programs, some of them wanted to buy the books Zhuan Falun and The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa and CDs in both Thai and in Chinese. Some even bought several copies at a time. Batches of visitors including civilians, monks, nuns and policemen wanted to learn the exercises.
The most welcomed item was the free fan, which featured a Falun Dafa introduction imprinted in Thai. Some people also asked for fans for their friends and family. Since the weather was hot, almost everyone got a fan and cooled themselves as they walked. Soon, the fans became part of the exhibition. Other visitors traced the fans back to our booth. During the four-day exhibition, we distributed around 4,000 fans.
